Your New Role
As the In House Commercial Lawyer, you'll join an expanding legal team, working across multiple disciplines to protect business interests.
In your new role, you'll handle the drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex technology contracts and supporting diverse areas like disputes, IP, privacy, and more.
- Key duties include;
- Draft and negotiate complex tech contracts with precision and in a time-sensitive environment.
- Guide our sales team through the deal process, offering legal insights and contract management advice.
- Provide general legal support to all areas of the business.
- Understand software products, software implementation, managed services and how they fit with privacy, data security, and cloud services.
- Standardize documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Solve problems and present smart, business-friendly solutions.
- What You Need To Succeed
- As the In House Commercial Lawyer, you will;
- Be a qualified solicitor/barrister 3YRS PQE+, with experience in commercial contracts, ideally exposure to technology contracts (Gained in-house or within a commercial/corporate firm).
- Have top-notch negotiation and drafting skills for fast-paced, non-standard tech agreements.
- Be a self-starter with a curious mind, eager to dive deep into the business and legal challenges we face.
- Be agile, organized, and thrive in a fast-moving environment, supporting a cutting-edge tech company.
- Be a team player with a passion for collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Experience with commercial contracts, intellectual property, and data privacy law.
- Knowledge of cloud services and experience drafting related software and professional services contracts.
- A drive to solve complex legal issues and manage client expectations.
