We are delighted to be working with a leading International Law Firm in their search for a talented Corporate lawyer (NQ) for their high-performing Corporate team in Belfast. This full service practice advises many of the world's most sophisticated multinational organisations, financial institutions, and high growth businesses on complex, cross-border matters. Your New Role
As a Corporate Associate with this outstanding law firm, you will support the Corporate team on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters and collaborate with other departments throughout the firm. You will work across multiple jurisdictions, participate in project teams, provide project management assistance, and help coordinate projects. You will build strong relationships with other departments and lawyers within the firm and contribute to identifying forward-thinking ways to improve and innovate services and ways of working.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- You will be qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland and/or England and Wales with excellent academics.
- Previous experience of commercial or corporate/M&A work from a strong corporate/commercial firm is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to set ambitious performance benchmarks while consistently achieving results.
- A strong appetite for learning and naturally inquisitive.
- Commercially astute with a clear focus on delivering outstanding client service.
- Strong communicator and excellent people skills.
- Ability to work well in a team with others of various experience levels as well as individually.
- Excellent writing skills and a commercial approach.
- Ability to balance work priorities and manage deadlines effectively.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools.
