The role is ideal for Corporate, Commercial, Funds or Regulatory Solicitors who wish to work in a prestigious firm while enjoying the flexibility of a remote position.

Your New Role

As a Senior Funds Solicitor you will be a fully engaged member of a team that provides legal services to investment‑fund clients. You will deliver excellent legal service, assist with project management, implement quality processes and employ technology to enhance client outcomes. Your practice will cover due diligence, M&A, capital markets, investment funds, corporate restructurings and regulatory matters.

You should have a strong general corporate/commercial background, an interest in investment‑fund work or a desire to develop that knowledge. Experience in funds or regulatory work is preferred but not essential. A willingness to adapt your expertise and enthusiasm for the role are key criteria.

You will receive access to the firm’s Funds Academy, a structured six‑week training programme that will form the foundation of your funds expertise. Working within a world‑class network, you will handle fee‑earning client work, supervise junior staff, support senior management with strategy and lead certain projects. You will liaise closely with partners and external clients, applying a client‑focused approach across transaction and advisory contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope and set up new matters, conduct fee‑earning work and supervise and train teams.
  • Support pricing at matter outset and manage costs and billing throughout.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant law, delivering technical excellence in your specialist area.
  • Utilise legal technology tools appropriate to each matter (e.g., AI for due diligence) and stay abreast of tech advances.
  • Prepare pitch documents and support business development, attending client presentations where required.
  • Liaise with clients and other teams as required for fee‑earning or non‑fee‑earning projects.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales or Northern Ireland; other common‑law jurisdictions may be considered if willingness to requalify.
  • Minimum 3 years’ post‑qualification experience, mostly in Corporate (Commercial or Funds). Exceptional circumstances may be considered with a supporting statement.
  • Proven experience supervising and supporting a legal team.

What You’ll Receive In Return

  • Global work on headline transactions and major disputes in the world's largest markets.
  • Strong culture of development; investment in your career progression.
  • Diverse and inclusive firm committed to a respectful culture for all backgrounds.
  • Remote working, enabling a balanced home‑work life.
  • Reputation and brand recognition in the market.
  • Competitive salary and package.
