An international legal services company is searching for a Senior Contract Associate for their Belfast office. Your New Role
The company is seeking to appoint a Senior Legal Associate Contract Management to work in their Belfast Office. As a Senior Legal Associate you will:
- Be responsible for drafting and negotiating a wide range of Commercial Contracts.
- Work closely with the clients' in-house legal departments on matters such as international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology or consumer matters.
- Be part of a team committed to the overall delivery of services and compliance with all delivery commitments to the client.
- Have active caseload management.
- Adhere to all the company's delivery processes and commitments.
- Input and manage data on the company's and client systems and keep them up to date.
- Help develop contract templates, playbooks and other tools for use by the team.
- Be part of a team committed to continually improving the company's service to their client and adding value.

- This role requires the legal knowledge to take instructions from the firm's clients, take appropriate action and serve as an escalation point on issues for more junior team members.
- Law Degree and/or Legally Qualified.
- Legally eligible to work in Northern Ireland.
- Minimum 4 years drafting experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts within a law firm, an ALSP, as part of an in-house legal team or within the company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Regular client-facing experience.
- Good commercial awareness, working directly with business managers.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - especially Microsoft Word.
- Organizational fit for the firm's culture - exhibiting the core values of Authenticity, Accountability, Adaptability and Stewardship.
- Client relationship management.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working with or for a telecommunications, financial services or professional services firm preferably in a contracting function.
- Experience of working in-house.
