Calling all Electricians in South Yorkshire with industrial or heavy industry experience. I am searching for Industrial Electricians for a client based in South Yorkshire who have a full Nationwide Order book and are growing!
The ideal candidate will:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across heavy industrial sites.
- Work with MCCs, conveyors, motors, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Carry out fault-finding, testing, and inspections to ensure compliance.
- Support both planned projects and reactive maintenance work.
- Must be able to travel to customer sites (overnight stays when attending worksites will be required so flexible to work and stay away is a key part of the role).
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Electricians who have worked on aggregates, mining, steel, oil/gas or similar heavy industry are preferred.
- Knowledge of control systems, motors, and PLCs (advantageous but not essential).
- A commitment to safe working practices.
- Full UK clean driving licence.
