What we are recruiting for :
Bovis Construction (Europe) Limited is seeking a proactive and customer-focusedIT Service Desk Analystto join our dynamic Technology Workplace team. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless IT support across the organization, providing first-line technical assistance and troubleshooting for a range of workplace technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, andHalo ITSM.
- Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests usingHalo ITSM.
- Maintain accurate asset records and configuration data within the Halo ITSM platform.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues across Windows 10/11 environments.
- Support and administer M365 applications including Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Provide technical assistance for mobile devices including iPhones and iPads running iOS.
- Troubleshoot and support internal applications such asKahua,SCIP,Sablono, and other tools that have been developed in-house.
- Basic familiarity withIntune and Azure AD, including user account administration and routine support tasks.
- Assist with user account management.
- Build and image laptops to company standards, ensuring readiness for deployment across the organization.
- Provide hands-on support for Lenovo hardware, including diagnostics, repairs, and warranty coordination.
- Provide support for Cloud Printing solutions, including setup, troubleshooting, and user assistance.
- Deliver Meeting Room support, including setup and troubleshooting of Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV equipment.
- Liaise with third-party providers, contractors, and vendors to coordinate support and service delivery.
- Escalate complex issues to second-line support or relevant teams as needed.
- Collaborate with the Technology Workplace Manager to improve service delivery and user experience.
Skills, experience and capabilities:
- Proven experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Experience supporting iOS devices (iPhones, iPads).
- Basic familiarity with Intune and Azure AD, including user account administration and routine support tasks.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with user account management in Active Directory environments.
- Experience usingHalo ITSMor similar ITSM platforms.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.]
- Must have, or be wiling to be vetted for, security clearance to work on government projects.
