The role
The primary role objective of the Resident Service & Leasing Associate is to provide exemplary customer service to current and prospective residents, including a focus on renting apartments and retaining residents.
What will you do?
- Conduct leasing tours with prospective residents. Follow-up on results.
- Using Company approved material and procedures quote prices and lease terms.
- Explain services. Accept applications for residency. All activities shall be conducted within regulatory and legislative requirement.
- Answer phones using a strong and professional greeting approved at the community.
- Paint “word pictures” to describe community to future residents and attempt to set an appointment with the prospect.
- Promote a professional and courteous attitude with residents and peers.
- Provide move in coordination and new home orientation support.
- Consistently stand and greet all Prospects and offer refreshments.
- Use company service requests software to properly fill out and communicate resident needs to Maintenance Manager.
- Respond to resident communications via email, phone calls, and voicemails.
You will bring
- Previous customer service work or property management experience is beneficial, but not required for this entry level leasing and service associate position.
- Ability to communicate well with people and create an atmosphere for them to feel comfortable quickly.
