Overview
In this role you will drive mortgage business growth in London by managing a broker network and educating intermediaries on LendInvest’s product suite. You will build a high-quality pipeline, balance outreach with account management, and partner with marketing and product teams to raise brand awareness. You’ll present our full product set, guide brokers through applications, and help close deals within a collaborative, hybrid-work environment. This role offers the chance to shape intermediary relationships at a fast-growing FinTech with a broad lending portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Grow new business with brokers across Midlands and South Wales by qualifying and structuring mortgage enquiries across the product range.
- Support brokers through the application journey and work with the internal sales team to convert leads into completions.
- Explain origination systems and how to package deals effectively.
- Build and maintain a strong broker panel, fostering long-term relationships for repeat business.
- Increase brand and product awareness through proactive outreach in collaboration with marketing and product teams.
- Promote lending criteria and processes to brokers to instill confidence in using platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage the pipeline and drive completions to funding.
- Maintain market presence via broker visits, events, and remote meetings using CRM and digital tools.
Key requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar intermediary-facing mortgage sales role, ideally with Midlands and South Wales connections.
- Knowledge of Buy-to-Let, Residential, Bridging or Development lending products.
- Strong communicator, comfortable presenting face-to-face and remotely.
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and ability to work autonomously.
- Commercially aware with the ability to provide market feedback to improve proposition and engagement with brokers.
