About the role

Finance Operations sits at the heart of the LendInvest business, dealing with both loan originators and funding providers. It provides information, analysis, planning and support on cash flow, risk management and performance reporting for the various funding mechanisms in place. As a newly established function it is growing quickly and delivering real value to the wider business. Processes are evolving and technology is being sourced and implemented to drive operational efficiencies.

This role will work with both the Finance Transactions Team and Finance Reconciliations Team under our Finance Operations function, where you will play a key role in the processing, execution and reconciliation of operational finance transactions.

About your work

  1. Timely and accurate processing of financial transactions in accordance with SLAs
  2. Ensuring adherence with company policies, regulatory requirements, including the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud
  3. Supporting Reconciliation Analysts with investigation in any reconciling differences as needed
  4. Ad hoc support to the rest of the finance operations team as required, including project activity
  5. Support the financial reporting team with ad-hoc reporting tasks and statutory work (non-technical)

About Your Experience

  1. Experience with Oracle Netsuite ERP system
  2. Experience working on change management and process improvement projects
  3. Experience working in a fast-paced environment

About you

  1. Working towards an accountancy qualification would be preferable (AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  2. Background in a transaction, execution or settlement department within financial services
  3. Awareness of double-entry accounting
  4. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, range of formulae including vlookup, sumifs and IF)
  5. Excellent attention to detail
