Lend Invest is the UK's leading Fin Tech platform for property finance.

Over the past 18 years, we have grown from just our two founders to a team of over 200 working to make property finance simple for everyone.

A workplace culture built around trying new things, getting things done, and having fun while we do it has helped us lend more than £9 billion of mortgages, put thousands of new or improved homes into the UK housing market, and successfully launch on the London Stock Exchange.

We have big plans to continue growing the business, our products, our technology, and our people.

About your work

The Business Development team at Lend Invest is the face of the business to the Intermediary market, and we're currently looking for a Business Development Manager to focus specifically on London.

In this role, you'll engage with brokers, both directly authorised and appointed representatives, across the region, including those affiliated with clubs and networks.

Your mission will be to work with our existing broker network, as well as increase awareness of the Lend Invest brand and product suite across London, driving new mortgage business through strong, consultative relationships.

You'll manage a panel of brokers, sourced and allocated by postcode, and work to build a high-quality pipeline of repeat introducers.

The role requires both product knowledge and the ability to educate intermediaries on how to work with us effectively.

You’ll be the key point of contact for brokers across our full product set; Buy-to-Let, Specialist Residential, and Bridging Finance, confidently presenting our proposition, guiding them through our application processes, and ultimately helping them close deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business across London, qualifying and structuring mortgage enquiries across our product suite.
  • Support brokers through the application journey, working closely with the internal sales team to convert leads into completions.
  • Confidently communicate how to navigate our origination systems and package deals successfully.
  • Build and maintain a strong panel of brokers in London, fostering long-term relationships that generate repeat business.
  • Increase awareness of the Lend Invest brand and offering through proactive outreach and support, working closely with our marketing and product teams.
  • Promote our criteria and process to brokers in London, ensuring confidence in using our platforms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage your pipeline and drive completions through to funding.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the market through broker visits, events, and remote meetings, using CRM tools and digital collaboration platforms.

About you

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar intermediary-facing mortgage sales role, ideally with existing contacts in London.
  • Knowledge of Buy-to-Let, Residential, Bridging or Development lending products.
  • Strong communicator, confident in presenting both face-to-face and remotely.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to feed back market insight to improve proposition and broker engagement.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own time effectively, while aligning with Lend Invest's culture and team practices.

Benefits & perks

  • Competitive salary + company bonus scheme
  • Hybrid working policy
  • 25 days holiday (increasing with the length of service)
  • Private healthcare
  • Enhanced parental leave
  • Matched pension contributions up to 4%
  • Critical illness cover
  • Employee Assistance Programme & Mental Health support
  • Life assurance
  • Regular performance reviews to promote a culture of growth and development
