About the role
LendInvest has a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and target‑driven Relationship Management specialist who is capable of procuring new business opportunities while delivering an exceptional level of service to clients in need of funding for short‑term lending. This will focus on coverage across the North of England and looking to initially transact deals up to £5m of bridging but there are further opportunities for larger transactions on a case‑by‑case basis. This role is hands‑on management of short‑term lending broker relationships.
About your work
- Develop & maintain relationships with key introducers and relevant market contacts
- Work closely with the team head to assess new business opportunities
- Liaise with relevant internal departments (i.e. Credit, Legal & Treasury)
- Sourcing, establishing & nurturing relationships with brokers and direct borrowers
- Promote and cultivate new business and partnership opportunities
- Establish initiatives to generate both internal and external referral and enquiry pipelines
- Undertake due diligence on prospective clients, investment & project opportunities
- Prepare and present proposals to financial stakeholders, present webinars and external presentations on bridging when required
- Heavily focused on meeting targets and generating new business opportunities
- Managing your time effectively in the office and on the road between driving business new and repeat, managing your pipeline, working closely with the underwriters, and admin work (such as email enquiries, portal enquiries and calls).
- Ability to draft a credit paper if required on larger loan transactions
- Grow our footprint and broker engagement
- Hit personal and team targets by delivering high‑quality bridging business.
- Maintain high service standards and strengthen our reputation in the intermediary market.
- Be a visible and trusted partner to brokers across the UK
About you
- Prior real estate bridging & development finance experience at a similar lender would be preferable.
- A clear and confident communicator at all levels (face‑to‑face, verbal & written)
- Good quality presentation skills and the ability to form personable relationships quickly
- An ability to build and maintain long‑term business relationships
- A detailed approach with excellent organisational skills
