Responsibilities

  • Executing all administrative tasks across the employee lifecycle, including drafting letters, coordinating onboarding, processing contract variations, and managing leaver documentation.
  • Maintaining a single source of truth in terms of HR data across all platforms and folders.
  • Ensuring data flows correctly between systems and departments, identifying discrepancies before they impact payroll or reporting.
  • Owning the RTW process and pre-employment screening with 100% compliance.
  • Ensuring all personnel files are audit-ready at all times.
  • Managing the People Team inbox and being the first point of contact for employees, providing clear, accurate, and succinct answers to policy queries, or escalating them to the Director/People Business Partner where necessary.
  • Conducting new-start inductions, introducing new employees to the business and ensuring they are set up for success.
  • Partnering with the Payroll & Benefits Manager to ensure all monthly changes are captured accurately.
  • Assisting in the administration of our benefits platforms to ensure high employee engagement.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the Glasgow office, assisting with the logistics of team events and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A CIPD qualified professional looking to grow in their HR career (or someone with a relevant degree).
  • Demonstrable experience working in a busy HR or Recruitment department.
  • Excellent attention to detail – whether it comes to spotting a typo or mismatched data.
  • First-class systems and technology skills, enjoying understanding how they work and how to make them better.
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills.
