About Lendable

Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world's leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:

  • One of the UK's most exciting unicorns with a team of over 800 people
  • Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK
  • Profitable since 2017
  • Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs
  • Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)

So far, we've rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We're growing fast, and there's a lot more to do: we're going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes. We challenge the status quo to solve problems and find smarter solutions. Build the best technology in-house: we use new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting.

About the role

Zable is about to become the face of Lendable. We're rebranding the company and product, significantly increasing our D2C marketing investment, and building out a marketing function under our newly appointed CMO. It's one of the most exciting marketing builds in UK fintech right now, backed by real financial strength, a large customer base and a product people love. Partnerships and sponsorships will be central to how we grow, and we're building the team to make that happen.

As our Growth Partnerships Manager, you'll shape the strategy and the budget, not just manage the day-to-day. Reporting to the Head of Growth Partnerships, you'll define our commercial approach, decide where partnership spend goes, and take every deal from first conversation to live activation: agreeing terms, making sure campaigns land well, and keeping partners engaged. You'll also make the case for each investment, with the data to back it, to senior leadership.

This is a senior seat for someone who enjoys both the creative and the analytical sides of partnerships.

Essential:

  • 5+ years in partnerships, affiliate marketing, sponsorships, BD or growth roles for a consumer brand, including time spent shaping commercial strategy, not just executing it
  • Fluent in core acquisition performance metrics, CPA, Revenue share, LTV, ROI and blended CAC, and comfortable moving between them when structuring a deal
  • Working knowledge of channel economics: payback period, cohort behaviour, and how partnership spend compares against other acquisition channels
  • Direct experience running affiliate and/or influencer partnership end to end, including commercial negotiation (not just relationship management)
  • Track record of running activations end-to-end and delivering measurable results
  • Strong account / relationship management skills
  • Comfortable with the data, channel economics, attribution and ROI
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, you can run multiple activations in parallel
  • Strong commercial communicator, you can hold your own with senior partners and senior internal stakeholders alike
  • Experience setting and owning a partnerships budget or channel P&L, with the judgement to reprioritise spend as performance data comes in
  • Comfortable presenting strategy and performance to senior leadership, and defending investment decisions with data
  • Demonstrable use of AI in your workflow

Desirable:

  • Experience in fintech or financial services
  • Experience with sport, entertainment, media or large brand sponsorships
  • Experience with an affiliate network or tracking platform
  • A natural relationship-builder, partners trust you, and so does your team
  • A strategic thinker as much as a doer, you can zoom out to set the plan, then zoom back in to execute it yourself
  • Commercially literate first, relationship-led second, you measure success in growth, not vanity
  • A strong project manager, you keep things moving and on-budget
  • Data-fluent, you build your own view on what's working from raw performance data, not just a dashboard summary
  • Hands-on and resourceful, you make things happen
  • Curious about AI and how it changes the partnerships discipline

What you'll be doing

  • Leadership & Strategy: Set the partnerships strategy and roadmap, and own the case for investment with senior leadership. Mentor and support a more junior partnerships or affiliate executive. Represent the partnerships function in senior leadership and budget reviews.
  • Commercial & Performance: Negotiate commercial terms with affiliates, influencers and sponsorship partners – CPA, Revenue share, hybrid and flat-fee structures – and know which model fits the partner. Own the partnerships budget and unit economics of every live partnership: track CAC by channel and partner against LTV, and flag anything trending the wrong way before it becomes a budget problem. Build and maintain the channel-economics view that lets the team compare partnership spend against other acquisition channels. Manage affiliate network/platform relationships (tracking, reconciliation, payout accuracy) and be the first port of call when numbers don't match.
  • Activation: Run sponsorship and partnership activations end-to-end, brief, plan, ship, measure. Manage the day-to-day with partners: planning, comms, escalations. Coordinate across creative, growth, lifecycle and legal.
  • Partner Management: Own the partner relationship, be the trusted operator they call first. Manage budgets and timelines across activations. Spot opportunities to expand existing partnerships based on their performance data.
  • Performance & Optimisation: Track partnership performance against targets, CPA, CAC, LTV, ROI, Rev Share payout. Build the playbooks and tooling that scale the function, including standard commercial terms by partner type. Use AI to scale research, brief-writing and reporting.
  • Cross-functional: Partner with creative on activation assets. Partner with finance and legal on contracts and accruals and commission reconciliation. Report on partnership performance to the Head of Growth Partnerships, with the numbers to back every recommendation.

Life at Lendable

  • Winning team: the opportunity to scale up one of the world's most successful fintech companies.
  • Flexible working: flexible approach tailored to each role. Hybrid roles require three days in-office weekly; fully remote roles include regular opportunities for in-person connection through socials and off-sites.
  • Socials & connection: opportunities and events to come together, socialise, and get to know each other beyond the office walls.
  • Health coverage: support for your physical and mental wellbeing, including private health cover.
  • Retirement & savings: long-term financial wellbeing through retirement savings plans.
  • Employee referral programme: earn a competitive bonus when you refer successful new team members.
  • Office meals & snacks: enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, plus complimentary lunches prepared by in-house chefs on in-office days at select locations.
