About the role

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven Commercial Associate to join the Growth team at Lendable. Focused on our Personal Loans and Credit Card businesses, you’ll play a critical role in managing and optimising our commercial partner relationships with price comparison websites and whitelabel partners driving growth by maximising partner performance. You’ll have significant autonomy and ownership to manage day-to-day commercial and product initiatives as well as partner relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Credit teams.

This is a high-impact, highly-visible role. You’ll be combining rigorous data analysis with relationship management to deliver tangible results. You’ll be embedded within the growth team and will work closely with different teams at Lendable while being trusted to drive growth initiatives and handle your own projects independently.

Team objectives

  • Responsible for the growth of all lending products, delivering projects via our price comparison site partnerships or directly into the market.
  • Answer questions such as where new customers are, what can be improved with current channels, competitor activity on marketplaces, risk of negative selection, and next innovations.

What you’ll be working on

  • Manage comparison site partner onboarding, analysis and improvement, optimising them for volume, cost and credit quality as volumes ramp up.
  • Manage partner relationships across strategic and day‑to‑day activity, to sustainably grow lending volumes, balancing focus on large strategic partners with incubating new ideas.
  • Prepare analyses, pulling out the most important insights to ensure good decisions with partnerships.
  • Triage ideas and strategies, focusing efforts on key growth levers.
  • Negotiate customer acquisition costs and commissions with key partners, identifying cost optimisations.
  • Own full responsibility for strategy and execution of specific partner projects, marketing efforts or product enhancements that deliver business growth.

What we\’re looking for

  • 2-3+ years in a commercial, consultancy, partnerships, business development, or account management role; ideally within financial services or high‑growth tech.
  • Success in managing, growing, and optimising commercial relationships, contract negotiation, and tangible results.
  • Highly numerate and analytical; proficient in data, Excel, commercial modelling; SQL or similar tools a plus.
  • Strong communicator, able to represent Lendable externally and build trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • Outcome‑driven and proactive: prioritising, independently driving projects, managing work to deliver high‑value results.
  • Comfortable contributing to a collaborative team, thriving where individual performance is directly visible.

What does success look like 6 months after joining?

  • Formed strong working relationships with all key partners, engaging daily.
  • Identified 2-3 actionable ideas for product, funnel conversion, quality or cost improvement with partners.
  • Ownership of the customer acquisition funnel at partner level, identifying funnel dynamics and sharing insights with Credit and Product teams.
  • Assessed new partnership opportunities on a regular basis, acting on those that deliver value.
  • First line ownership of due diligence checks and ongoing compliance monitoring of partners through dedicated diligence exercises and mystery shopping.
