Full Time (Permanent) Hybrid. Focus on US Personal Loans.
About the role
Personal loans are a rapidly growing consumer credit product in the US. Lendable launched US Personal Loans in 2022, built a credit platform, and now seeks aggressive growth. As Senior Product Manager you will own multiple product areas, define strategy, ship features, and drive outcomes end‑to‑end.
What you’ll work on:
- Get proprietary credit models into production, working with data science to translate research into lending decisions.
- Design and build automations that dramatically improve operational efficiency.
- Use data to ideate initiatives that improve credit quality, reduce losses, help customers or grow volume.
- Explore use of LLMs to support customer service, servicing, and collections.
- A/B test customer journeys from application through servicing.
- Improve post‑original experience—including payments and support.
- Lead the product team, align and motivate teammates, and continuously improve tools and processes for delivery speed.
Your team
Report to the Head of Product and collaborate closely with the Managing Director of US Loans. Team includes two other PMs, ~14 engineers (mostly backend) spread across London and Europe, a data science team, a credit risk team, a growth team, and operations agents.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years in Product, Strategy, or Analytics with at least 2 in a product management role.
- 3+ years in fintech, financial services, or a strong understanding of lending and credit.
- Highly curious, systems thinker who connects dots and considers end‑to‑end impact.
- Experience building with AI—agents, workflows, code generation, analysis—and can demonstrate a track record of shipping products that moved real business metrics.
- Comfortable with data and SQL; able to formulate and answer relevant questions.
- Bonus: experience in high‑growth startup or scale‑up.
How you work:
- Break complex problems into shippable pieces.
- Decide under ambiguity and own outcomes.
- Communicate clearly to stakeholders.
- Build cross‑functional relationships and pull the right people together.
- Move fast, default to action, and course‑correct when needed.
