Overview

We are building out our SEO function and seek a Senior Technical SEO to own technical SEO across Zable.

You will partner with engineering and product to ship work that unlocks organic growth, site architecture, performance, schema, indexation and AI search readiness.

This role extends beyond traditional technical SEO to build SEO-led product surfaces, calculators, comparison tools, interactive guides and full-stack products designed to capture high-volume search demand.

You will scope, ship and continuously improve those builds, applying an SEO lens to every launch and helping decide where the biggest organic bets are worth product investment, not just content.

Responsibilities

  • Run continuous technical audits across all sites and own the technical SEO roadmap, prioritised, scoped and shipped.
  • Partner with engineering and product to land the work and improve performance, crawlability and rendering.
  • Drive Core Web Vitals and page speed improvements; manage indexation, crawl budget and rendering across domains.
  • Implement and maintain structured data and schema; focus on product, financial, FAQ schemas.
  • Plan and lead SEO-led product launches, calculators, comparison tools, interactive guides and full-stack content products.
  • Identify high-volume, high-intent search opportunities that warrant a product build, not just a page.
  • Own SEO requirements for launches including site architecture, schema, internal linking and indexation strategy.
  • Support programmatic content and page-template strategies that scale to long-tail demand.
  • Measure post-launch organic performance and feed learnings back into the product roadmap.
  • Own the technical SEO tooling stack, crawlers, log file tools, and monitoring; build dashboards and alerts on technical health.
  • Run regular reporting to the Head of SEO and CMO.
  • Lead AI search readiness, including entity optimization, structured data and content access; use AI to scale audits, monitoring and brief-writing.

Qualifications

  • Essential: 4+ years in technical SEO with hands-on audits, fixes and shipped impact.
  • Strong understanding of site architecture, internal linking, crawl budget and indexation.
  • Confident with performance, Core Web Vitals, page speed and Java Script rendering.
  • Experience with structured data and schema (especially product, financial, FAQ).
  • Comfortable with crawlers (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb), log file analysis and rendering tools.
  • Experience building products with AI tools, SEO-led product launches or programmatic content systems.
  • Nose for spotting search opportunities that warrant a product build, not just content.
  • Demonstrable use of AI in your technical SEO workflow.

Desirable

  • Experience with Next. js, React or other JS-rendered sites.
  • Experience optimising for AI Overviews and LLM-driven search.
  • Experience with international or multi-domain SEO.
  • Some content/on-page SEO abilities.

About the role and culture

Detail-oriented, rigorous, and a strong communicator who can earn trust and shape the roadmap.

Pragmatic about quick wins vs. long-term foundations.

Excited about building new things and AI-driven changes in the technical SEO landscape.

You will join a growing fintech company with a strong market position and a mission to deliver cutting-edge technology and customer value.

Benefits and working model

  • Flexible working: hybrid roles require three days in-office weekly; fully remote roles include regular in-person connections through socials and off-sites.
  • Health coverage for physical and mental wellbeing, including private health cover.
  • Retirement savings plans and employee referral programme with competitive bonuses.
  • Office meals and snacks where available; access to in-house kitchens on in-office days at select locations.
  • Sustainable commuting options where available.
