Senior Kotlin engineer to join a newly forming pod. Contribute to design discussions, deliver elegant Kotlin solutions, and help scale fintech products. The team is building a next-generation lending platform, a next-gen credit card, and an auto-finance product, with ongoing product launches this year.

Responsibilities
- Build and integrate new APIs to support the collections function and internal tools.
- Contribute to design discussions and architecture in collaboration with stakeholders across the business.
- Deliver scalable, idiomatic Kotlin solutions and improve team capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality software engineering practices.
- Work within Agile processes (Kanban) and support rapid feature delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex financial domains.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial Kotlin experience and ability to write clean, simple code.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL); NoSQL experience is a plus.
- Ability to quickly understand complex financial business domains and software architectures.
- Experience writing automated tests across the testing pyramid.
- Understanding of Kanban or similar agile methodologies; not a deal breaker if not.
