Take ownership across a broad remit to build and lead a world-class creative function within a fast-growing fintech environment. Focus on delivering a coherent creative system and aligning brand with performance across multiple channels as part of a rebrand and scale initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Set the creative vision and establish a high standard across the brand and its roll-out.
  • Translate brand strategy into a coherent creative system: identity, tone, design language, motion and video.
  • Own creative review across all marketing output – paid, lifecycle, organic, brand, partnerships, sponsorships.
  • Evolve the brand over time based on customer insight, performance data and market shifts.

Team Leadership

  • Hire, manage and develop the creative pod – designers, video producers, freelancers and agency partners.
  • Set briefs, prioritise work and run a high-output, high-quality creative function.
  • Coach the team on craft, AI workflows and commercial thinking.
  • Define the operating model (in-house vs. agency vs. freelance) that scales with our ambition.

Cross-functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with the CMO, growth, lifecycle, content, SEO and product teams to align brand and performance.
  • Work with product design to ensure brand coherence between marketing and in-product experience.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal and compliance to keep work on-brand and on-policy.

AI & Process

  • Lead the creative team's adoption of AI — tools, workflows, evaluation.
  • Build the systems, templates and processes that let us produce at volume without compromising the bar.
  • Set creative effectiveness benchmarks and embed a test-and-learn culture.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of creative experience, with at least 2–3 years leading a creative team in a high-growth consumer brand or top creative agency.
  • Track record of building or significantly evolving a brand identity, ideally for a D2C consumer brand undergoing rebrand or rapid scale.
  • Strong portfolio across brand, advertising, lifecycle and digital, with work that is genuinely best-in-class.
  • Confident in managing, hiring and developing a multi-discipline team (designers, producers, freelancers, agencies).
  • Comfortable operating both strategically (brand vision, system, narrative) and hands-on.
  • Experienced collaborating with senior stakeholders, CMO, growth, lifecycle, product, performance and brand.
  • Demonstrable use of AI in your creative workflow and a clear point of view on how AI reshapes the creative discipline.

Desirable

  • Experience in regulated industries (fintech, healthcare, telco, insurance).
  • Experience spanning both in-house and top creative agencies.
  • Experience standing up an in-house creative function or production studio.
  • Comfort with creative effectiveness measurement and structured testing.
  • Driven by craft but commercially minded — measure work by impact, not awards.
  • A strong leader who lifts those around them and attracts talent.
  • Pragmatic and decisive — ship and learn rather than perfect in private.
  • Brand-obsessed but flexible — hold a high bar at speed.
  • Energised by greenfield problems and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • A confident communicator who can sell ideas internally and externally.

Benefits

  • Flexible working: hybrid roles require three days in-office weekly; fully remote roles include regular opportunities for in-person connection through socials and off-sites.
  • Socials & connection: opportunities and events to come together and get to know each other beyond the office walls.
  • Health coverage: support for physical and mental wellbeing, including private health cover.
  • Retirement & savings: long-term financial wellbeing through retirement savings plans.
  • Employee referral programme: earn a competitive bonus when you refer successful new team members.
  • Office meals & snacks: fully stocked kitchen with complimentary lunches on in-office days at select locations.
  • Sustainable commuting: cycle-to-work and electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes available in select locations.
