We're looking for an analytically-minded Credit Risk Manager to lead a team of analysts, to help drive meaningful change in one of our consumer finance products in the UK or USA markets. This role is ideal for someone who is confident with data, comfortable coding, and eager to solve complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of analysts to support credit risk decisioning and portfolio performance.
- Optimise credit decisioning: who to lend to, how much to lend, and at what interest rate.
- Assess and adapt to external economic conditions.
- Develop and own models that forecast returns and guide investor reporting.
- Define and refine credit strategies that align with evolving portfolio goals.
- Discover insights from data using Python and SQL to address key business questions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, data, and operations teams to implement strategies.
- Monitor and assess the success of implemented strategies and continuously identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and develop junior analysts.
