## About the roleWe’re looking for someone early in their career who wants to **learn how fintech****products are actually built**. We are not necessarily looking for a **traditional product manager**, who is focused on managing roadmaps or writing tickets.Instead, we are looking for a **builder**. Someone who does not take things at facevalue, who asks why things work the way they do and who enjoys challengingassumptions before jumping to solutions.You will work closely with the Cards team to **break down problems, test ideas and****improve the product and business quickly**. Many of the best improvements willcome from questioning how things currently work and finding simpler or faster waysto do them.If you are curious about fintech, lending and technology and want to see how a realproduct is built and scaled, this role gives you that exposure.## What you\’ll be doingThis role spans a wide range of work across the UK Cards product. Broadly, thework falls into two areas.**1. Running fast experiments**Many valuable improvements do not require engineering builds. We want someonewho enjoys questioning how things work today and running quick experiments to testbetter approaches.Examples include:* Testing different messaging, offers or incentives to increase engagement* Testing new acquisition features* Running manual experiments to validate ideas before committing engineering**2.
