The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and wastewater disposal. Performs a variety of services ranging from faucet repairs to water heater installations and plumbing systems replacements for residential customers while maintaining the highest level of customer service. As a plumbing technician, you will work as part of a dynamic team filling a role that suits you best whether it is consulting with customers, repairs, installation, or all of the above.

Compensation:

  • Based on experience – $80 to $120K+

Qualifications :

  • At least 3 years experience in residential plumbing ( we do not handle commercial or new construction)
  • Ability to drive a company service truck safely at all times and to maintain a clean driving record.
  • Strong analytical and problems solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and listening skills.
  • Ability to offer services to customers in an effective and satisfactory manner; assist the customer in choosing the best service option and products and strive to win referrals and repeat business.
  • Ability to maintain a well-inventoried truck
  • Honesty and trustworthiness in dealing with customers
  • Ability to work a varying schedule depending on the company’s needs; work off-shift with minimal notice if required, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to participate in training sessions and company meetings
  • Accuracy and timely invoicing, timesheets other daily paperwork.

Experience/Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Journeyman\’s or Master License Preferred
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes
  • Proven track record in soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, gas leak testing, and repair
  • Clean, safe driving record
