Lemontree Recruitment are recruiting for a Team Leader to support the Registered and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day management of a residential children’s home. The role involves supervising and developing staff, leading shifts, managing rotas and on-call duties, and deputising for management when required. You will play a key role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs, ensuring high-quality care in line with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements.
You will lead on care planning and key working, manage incidents, liaise with external professionals, attend reviews and multi-agency meetings, and ensure a therapeutic care approach is embedded throughout the home. The role includes direct work with young people, report writing, staff support and training, and maintaining health, safety, and financial controls.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
- Experience working in a therapeutic children’s home (essential)
- Flexibility to work a rota including sleep-ins and on-call duties
