Lemontree Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to support the Registered and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day running of a residential children’s home. This is a key role where you will lead shifts, supervise and develop staff, manage rotas, and undertake on-call responsibilities. You will also deputise for management when required, ensuring the home operates to a high standard at all times.
You will play an essential part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs, ensuring high-quality care in line with Children’s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Care planning
- Key working
- Incident management
- Liaising with professionals
- Attending reviews and multi-agency meetings
- Embedding a therapeutic approach
- Direct work with young people
- Report writing
- Staff support
- Maintaining health, safety, and financial controls
Essential Requirements (please only apply if you meet ALL of the below):
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Experience working in a therapeutic children’s home
- Full UK driving licence
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Sponsorship is NOT offered for this role
- Flexibility to work a rota including sleep-ins and on-call duties
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: £32,445 – £34,608 per annum
- 30 days holiday
- Sleep-ins paid at £60 per sleep
