Lemontree Recruitment Solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client for a passionate Deputy Manager to join a welcoming children's residential home in Newhaven.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced Registered Manager, lead a dedicated team, and help create positive outcomes for children and young people.

What You'll Do

  • Support the day-to-day management of the home.
  • Lead and motivate the care team.
  • Ensure outstanding safeguarding and care standards.
  • Support staff through coaching and supervision.
  • Monitor care plans, risk assessments and children's progress.
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
  • Help prepare for Ofsted inspections and drive continuous improvement. What We're Looking For
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a children's residential home.
  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership skills.
  • Working towards, or willing to complete, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
