We are looking for committed, compassionate, and reliable temporary staff to join our team in a busy Drug & Alcohol Support Hostel. If you’re passionate about helping people rebuild their lives and thrive in challenging environments, we’d love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in supported housing, homeless services, drug & alcohol support, or similar care environments
  • A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to update one)
  • Strong communication, boundary-setting, and de-escalation skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • A supportive, empathetic approach and a genuine desire to help others

Role Duties Include:

  • Supporting residents with day-to-day needs and care plans
  • Promoting safety, wellbeing, and positive engagement
  • Managing incidents calmly and professionally
  • Liaising with external agencies when required
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records

Location: Brighton and Hove

Hours: Temporary shifts, flexible availability

Pay: £12.21 - £24.00
