About the Role
As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting service users to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. You will provide person-centred care while promoting independence and enhancing wellbeing. We offer flexible working hours, with full-time, part-time, day and night shifts available to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
- Support safe moving and handling in accordance with care plans and training.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic care records and update care plans as required.
- Contribute to reviews of service users' needs and report any changes in their health or wellbeing.
- Encourage and support service users to participate in organised activities and one-to-one sessions alongside the Activities Coordinator.
- Assist with housekeeping duties, including cleaning.
