Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced SAP Integration Architect with a strong focus on the SAP Integration Suite to drive the design and implementation of innovative integration solutions across SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will bring significant consulting experience and a deep understanding of cloud-based integration technologies, including SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Integration Suite. Experience with SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration) is beneficial but not required. As a senior architect, you will guide clients through complex integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity between SAP and third-party applications while promoting best practices. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to cater communication and documentation to various level of seniority in the client's organization and should demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders in business terms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite, including SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), API Management, and Open Connectors.
• Provide consulting expertise to clients on integration strategy, defining requirements, and developing scalable solutions that align with business objectives and technical architectures.
• Architect cloud-first integration solutions to connect SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC) with external applications, ensuring seamless, efficient, and secure data flows.
• Drive SAP Integration Suite migration initiatives, transitioning Legacy SAP PI/PO systems to modern cloud-based platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized performance.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and third-party vendors, to define and document integration requirements and solution designs.
• Design iFlows, APIs, web services, and integration interfaces using SAP integration tools to support complex enterprise workflows.
• Offer subject-matter expertise and guidance on best practices for integration, focusing on SOA, EAI, and modern integration patterns.
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of integration solutions to ensure high availability, resilience, and compliance with security standards.
• Provide post-implementation support and knowledge transfer to clients, ensuring long-term sustainability and success of integration systems.
• Document integration solutions, strategies, and frameworks to ensure alignment with industry standards and organizational practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest SAP integration technologies and trends, proactively recommending improvements and new approaches to clients.

Qualifications:

• Completed bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, system engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP integration, with a primary focus on the SAP Integration Suite (including SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and API Management).
• Demonstrated consulting experience working with clients to define integration strategies, lead design workshops, and develop end-to-end integration solutions.
• Experience in cloud-based integration architectures, including the design and deployment of iFlows, APIs, and web services in hybrid environments (SAP and third-party systems).
• Proven ability to lead SAP Integration Suite migrations, including transitioning from Legacy Middleware such as SAP PI/PO to cloud-based solutions.
• Strong familiarity with SAP PI/PO is beneficial but not required; experience with Legacy SAP PI/PO systems is a plus, especially for migration projects.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), and EAI (Enterprise Application Integration).
• Experience working with web services (REST, SOAP), IDoc, RFC, and other SAP integration protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues.
• Proven ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple integration projects and priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• SAP Certification in SAP Integration Suite, SAP CPI, or other related technologies is preferred.

Desirable Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Knowledge of API life cycle management, integration governance, and cloud integration security best practices.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms is beneficial.
• Consulting experience working on enterprise integration projects, including defining strategy, planning, and delivery.
