We’re looking for a dynamic Social, Content & Community Lead who lives and breathes social, platforms, trends, community and content. This role is all about driving engagement, reaching new audiences, creating content and keeping the brand relevant for an engaged and passionate equestrian following. You’ll lead proactive and reactive content concepts, manage posting and conversations across channels, including our app, and bring influencer relationships to life. What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver social-first campaigns that prioritise engagement, reach and relevance across all platforms.
- Lead on all LeMieux social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, along with YouTube.
- Plan social campaigns in line with our overall campaign and comms plan, carefully considering customer types and seasonal nuance.
- Pivot accordingly in line with in-season changes and business needs, finding alternative, relevant options at pace.
- Trend hunting and platform relevance.
- Monitor social trends and platform changes to keep content fresh, timely and optimised for each platform.
- Live and breathe social for the brand and proactively drive development of each platform through understanding.
- Develop platforms in line with updates and norms, and suggest new platforms where relevant.
- Content ideation and creation (proactive and reactive).
- Generate creative concepts that take advantage of trending moments and brand stories, balancing long term planning with agile real time content.
- Actively create on-brand and engaging social content – both video and stills – independently and alongside the wider team, from shoot to edit.
- Be a key player in our in-house team of creatives and marketers, helping to generate impactful and engaging content to a high standard and at serious volume.
- Content briefing and management.
- Write clear and detailed content briefs, collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.
- Where necessary, help drive and deliver content production from brief to posting.
- Content posting and platform optimisation.
- Schedule and post content at the right time and in the right format, following best practice for each platform.
- Utilise Hootsuite to plan and schedule content and build insights.
- Community management (social and app).
- Act as the brand voice across social channels and within the LeMieux app. Moderate conversations, engage existing moderators, share content, use the Community for content ideation and concepts, respond to feedback, nurture community sentiment and act with pace on brand relevant opportunities.
- Influencer discovery and coordination.
- Identify new, potential influencers and ideas around them to create a constant flow of new talent, building these relationships, working with relevant team stakeholders, and supporting behind the scenes on shoots, collaborate on influencer content and help coordinate influencer activity.
- Analytics and performance reporting.
- Track engagement, reach, sentiment and community growth.
- Provide insights that lead to actionable improvements in the form of detailed reports and recommendations.
- Act upon the data to create actionable outcomes through content and social.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven professional experience in social media, content and/or community management roles with a track record of success in driving engagement.
- Experience working with communities and/or community driven platforms to drive usage, engagement, audience and business growth.
- Strong understanding of multiple social platforms, their features, trends and audience behaviours with the ability to adapt across changing platforms.
- Specific experience and understanding across Meta platforms and TikTok.
- Experience working on content creation with in-house or agency partners to generate high volumes of ideas and content.
- Creative and reactive content creation skills and experience, with strong idea generation for both evergreen and trending content, and shooting and editing skills.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a calm and effective manner.
- Ability to develop clear briefs and work effectively with creative, influencer and cross functional teams such as Customer Services, Product and more.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with empathy, tone alignment and emotional intelligence to manage community sentiment.
- Comfortable using social analytics tools, preferably Hootsuite or similar, to interpret data, create detailed reports and use data and analytics to make decisions that demonstrably improve results.
- Clear, engaging and brand aligned written communication for social captions, community replies and briefs.
- Able to balance scheduled social plans with fast moving, real-time responses and new content ideas and generation.
Nice to have
- Equestrian experience or exposure – not essential but highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with community or app-based engagement platforms and/or loyalty schemes.
- Previous experience supporting behind the scenes on shoots or influencer content production.
- Experienced in multi format content creation to a high standard with a social-first approach.
- Videography and photography experience and a high level of camera/phone skills in both capture and edit.
