LeMieux has an exciting opportunity for a Photographer looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing global equestrian company. We have an ambitious vision and are looking to add to our 180-strong HQ team to achieve it. You’ll be working alongside Marketing and Creative to achieve best in class images and ultimately, help make LeMieux the most exciting equestrian brand on the planet.
As a Photographer at LeMieux, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images that align with our brand and marketing objectives, in studio and on location, working closely with our Marketing and Creative team to produce visually compelling content for various channels including our website, social media, brochures, advertising materials, events activations and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality, best in class studio and lifestyle images for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials, both in studio and on location.
- Assist in planning and executing photoshoots for product launches, marketing initiatives and live events, incorporating both studio and environmental settings.
- Where required, edit and retouch images to ensure they meet our high-quality brand standards and visual guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Creative team to develop concepts and ideas for photoshoots, ensuring alignment with intended formats and usage.
- Maintain and organise the photography equipment and studio space, as well as manage logistics for on-location shoots where required.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in photography and image editing techniques.
Suitable applicants will display the following:
- Proven experience as a photographer, preferably in an in-house or agency setting, with proficiency in both studio and on-location photography is advantageous.
- Proficiency in photography equipment and software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.
- Excellent eye for composition, lighting, and detail in both studio and on-location settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Happy to get stuck into a shoot, doing what it takes to get the best possible shot is essential, whatever the weather.
- Strong communication and organisation skills are key, as is the ability to collaborate with multiple key stakeholders, and display a diligent and cooperative approach to creative workflow.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and projects.
- Willing and able to travel and be away for shoots – UK and internationally – as required.
- The ability to work in a fast-moving environment that is constantly growing, evolving, and innovating.
- Degree in photography or related field is not essential but would be a plus.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and high-quality photography work in both studio and on-location environments would be advantageous.
- Strong Equestrian knowledge and/or an interest in horses and the industry would be preferred.
