LeMieux has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Designer (Apparel) looking for a new challenge in a fast-growing global equestrian company. We have an ambitious vision and are looking to add to our 180-strong HQ team to achieve it. You’ll be working alongside our talented design team to achieve best in class product designs and ultimately, help make LeMieux the most exciting equestrian brand on the planet.

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and versatile Junior Designer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a broad design interest and who is eager to contribute to a variety of product categories. You will support the design team throughout the development process, from concept to production, gaining hands-on experience in multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with across departments and teams to develop exceptional products that meet our customers’ needs.
  • Own the design process, from conceptualisation right through to production sign off, on your given categories.
  • Work to the critical path, ensuring deadlines are met and product is delivered on time.
  • Be commercially minded when designing and bringing product to life.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of design.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Assist in the preparation of design presentations and materials for client and sign off meetings.

Suitable applicants will display the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience of working as a Designer in a clothing-based field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Textile Design or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to work within a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset.

LeMieux is an equestrian company, however while beneficial, equestrian knowledge is not a prerequisite. We are however looking for a team member who shows an interest and is willing to learn about our exciting equine world, while bringing a fresh perspective on design possibilities.
