LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South. Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live. What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth. With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.

We're looking for a bilingual Growth Operations Manager to own LemFi's presence across Chinese digital platforms and drive user growth within the Chinese diaspora globally. This is a creative, fast-paced role sitting at the intersection of content, social media, and operations. You'll shape content strategy, manage Chinese social platforms, support product localisation, run CRM campaigns, and support payment operations. Above all, you'll be the voice of LemFi for Chinese communities overseas, turning real cultural insight into content that resonates and drives growth.

You'll report into the Growth team and work cross-functionally with Product, Operations and CRM to execute against a clear growth agenda. You'll work independently, own your impact end-to-end, and use data plus cultural fluency to iterate fast.

What you'll build and own:

  • Own and manage LemFi's Chinese social media channels (Rednote, Weibo, WeChat, Instagram, Facebook) with a monthly content calendar that reflects the real lives and financial needs of Chinese diaspora communities.
  • Develop and execute culturally resonant content strategy, spot platform trends and cultural moments, and move fast to capitalize on them.
  • Build and nurture online communities where LemFi's Chinese audience feels seen and connected, using data to continuously sharpen strategy and measure impact.
  • Translate and localise product content across mobile, web and blog via our CMS, maintaining brand voice and cultural accuracy while optimizing for SEO.
  • Plan, execute and optimise customer engagement campaigns via email and push notifications to support product launches and retention, managing segmentation, testing and performance tracking.
  • Support daily funding operations and liquidity monitoring across payment channels, coordinating fund allocation and FX activities to ensure smooth transaction flow.
  • Leverage AI tools to ideate, create and iterate content faster, freeing you to focus on strategy and community building.

Your experience:

  • Native or near-native Mandarin Chinese with C1+ business English.
  • 2-3 years' hands-on experience in social media, content creation, marketing or growth, ideally in fintech, tech or consumer internet.
  • Proven fluency managing Chinese digital platforms (Rednote, Weibo, WeChat) with strong cultural and platform-specific judgment.
  • Confident using AI tools for content ideation, copywriting and localisation to work faster and at scale.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple workstreams independently; you move fast and own your outcomes.

Nice to have:

  • Experience at a fintech or cross-border payments company.
  • Hands-on familiarity with CRM tools and campaign management.
  • Background working with or marketing to diaspora or immigrant communities.
