LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South. Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live. What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth. With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.
About the role: LemFi is building the financial platform for immigrants: borderless accounts, remittances, savings, credit, and eSIMs across ~21 countries. Our users are real people building lives across borders, and performance marketing is the engine that finds them first. Reporting to the CMO, the Head of Performance Marketing owns our global paid acquisition strategy across every corridor we run, from UK-to-Nigeria to Canada-to-India, and is accountable for translating media spend into transacting, retained users. This role balances high-level strategic ownership with hands-on execution. You will lead, mentor, and advocate for an experienced, highly autonomous international team running our international corridors—while remaining hands-on to directly manage global campaigns on core channels like Google, ASA, and programmatic platforms. This role requires taking full strategic authority back from top-down leadership, driving company-level visibility for a team that delivers over 45% of user acquisition, and building our critical data and attribution infrastructure from the ground up.
If you want to manage spreadsheets, this isn't for you. If you want to champion an exceptional team and build the acquisition machine for a category-defining fintech, keep reading.
What you’ll build and own:
- Own the global paid acquisition strategy, making the final call on outcomes while staying hands-on to directly run and optimise global campaigns across Google, Apple Search Ads (ASA), and programmatic networks.
- Empower and guide our highly autonomous regional experts running the African and Asian corridors, collaborating with them on their pre-defined budgets, channel allocations, and local executions.
- Rebuild our measurement and attribution capabilities from scratch, moving the organisation away from last-click standards to track deep-funnel performance, revenue impact, LTV, and payback periods.
- Serve as the primary cross-functional advocate for the performance marketing team, securing crucial resources like Data Engineering, Data Science, and third-party tools from senior leadership.
- Partner with the creative and marketing teams to eliminate bandwidth bottlenecks, accelerating the creative pipeline to scale up ad volume and variety.
- Review, resource, and execute the team's drafted AI roadmap, defining clear expectations for AI-powered creative production and workflow automation.
- Integrate paid acquisition efforts into the broader growth ecosystem, aligning paid media with organic, social, and influencer channels to drive optimal business outcomes.
- Own the install-to-transfer funnel, working tightly with Product, Data, and Compliance to ensure paid traffic doesn't just download the app but clears KYC and completes a first funded transfer.
Your experience:
- 8+ years in digital, paid performance, or growth marketing; fintech, mobile consumer apps, remittance, or high-growth consumer SaaS strongly preferred.
- Proven track record running large monthly paid media budgets across Google, ASA, Meta, and TikTok with a consistent record of hitting CPA and payback targets at scale.
- Strong leadership and team ownership experience, with proven success managing and mentoring international, cross-cultural teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a low-ego, collaborative management style focused on listening to and empowering experienced regional marketers.
- Strong mobile app growth experience, with deep technical mastery of app acquisition dynamics and mobile-specific tracking and attribution challenges.
- Proven experience building measurement frameworks and attribution infrastructure from the ground up, moving teams past basic vanity metrics to focus on true revenue impact.
- AI Builder: you understand how to review and operationalise team-led AI initiatives, using automation and AI tools to multiply creative output and eliminate manual toil.
Nice to have:
- Experience with DOOH or programmatic community-saturation campaigns in high-density immigrant markets.
- Hands-on familiarity with corridor-based or market-tiering growth frameworks in a remittance or cross-border payments context.
- Exposure to regulated fintech environments where Compliance is a real constraint on creative and targeting strategy.
