The Role

As our Marketing Technology Lead, you are the architect of our performance engine. Your mission is to ensure that every dollar spent on global acquisition is measurable and that our conversion funnel is a "leaky-bucket-free" zone. You will build the infrastructure that allows us to attribute cross-border transfers back to their original sources and optimize the path to "First Send".

How You’ll Contribute

  • Design Full-Funnel Attribution: Maintain a multi-touch attribution (MTA) model that accounts for the complex P2P journey, including Web-to-App, cross-device, and referral loops.
  • Lead Server-Side Tracking (SST): Transition to server-side GTM or Segment to bypass ad-blockers and privacy restrictions, ensuring 100% accuracy in "Transaction Funded" events.
  • Manage Event Mapping & Taxonomy: Own the global event dictionary to ensure "KYC_Started," "KYC_Approved," and "Transfer_Initiated" fire consistently across iOS, Android, and Web.
  • Optimize Deep Linking: Implement deferred deep linking (via AppsFlyer or Branch) so users landing from specific corridor ads (e.g., USD-to-PKR) see the correct currency pairs immediately.
  • Architect Retention Triggers: Build "Liquidity Alerts" that trigger automated, personalized push notifications when a user deviates from their typical sending schedule.
  • Drive Experimentation: Manage the technical side of A/B testing (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) and conduct "Lift Studies" to prove the true incremental value of marketing campaigns.

Who You Are

  • Data Intuitive: You don’t take dashboard numbers at face value; your first instinct is to verify the tracking logic if a campaign shows unrealistic ROI.
  • Strategically Patient: You understand that in P2P remittance, the "First Transfer" can take days due to KYC or bank delays, and you map your attribution accordingly.
  • Operationally Rigorous: You treat the MarTech stack like a product, maintaining clean documentation and ensuring app code changes don’t break automation.
  • A Cross-Functional Translator: You can comfortably pivot from discussing data privacy with Legal to discussing A/B testing with the Creative team.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a fintech or regulated tech environment (Remittance, Payments, Crypto, etc.) with KYC requirements.
  • MMP Expertise: Deep experience with Mobile Measurement Partners like AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch.
  • Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in SQL for raw event data and Tableau/Looker for building real-time growth monitors.
  • Stack Migration Experience: A proven track record of building MarTech stacks from scratch or migrating to unified CDP-led architectures (e.g., Segment/Braze).
  • Global Campaign Experience: Experience managing automation logic that adapts to different regional geographies and regulations.
  • Analytical Foundation: A solid grasp of statistical significance and Bayesian vs. Frequentist testing methodologies.

This role can be hybrid from our London office, or remote anywhere in Europe.
