Join the LEGO® Group’s Play Discovery team within the Creative Play Lab for a paid internship at our London Hub. This role is ideal for students with a passion for early‑stage ideation, concept development, and prototyping.
Internship Details
Start date: 7th September 2026
Length: 4 months (until the end of December 2026) with possible extension
Commitment: Full‑time or Part‑time
Application Requirements
- An A4 landscape poster designed by you that showcases why you are a good fit for the internship.
- A current CV detailing your education and relevant experience.
- A full portfolio showcasing a range of your work, including projects that highlight your interests and passions.
- A brief cover letter (no more than 200 words) that explains what motivates you to apply and why you are the best candidate.
Submit each item as a separate PDF document by Saturday, 18th July 2026.

About the Internship
As an intern you will work on personal curiosity projects, team capability building and innovation missions. Every day offers new learning experiences alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Eligibility
You must be a student or a 2026 graduate and have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
Experience (not required but desirable) in any of the following will strengthen your application:
- Sketching
- Concept artwork
- Graphic design
- Facilitation
- LEGO® model building
- Animation
- Videography / Editing
- Artistic hobbies (music, art, dance, design, fashion, etc.)
- Cultural awareness through exhibitions, research, travel, etc.

- Support teams in facilitating ideation sessions.
- Help turn sparks into visualisations and concepts.
- Explore your own ideation and directions for creative exploration.
- Challenge teams to think outside the norm and broaden their horizons.
