It all started with a dream cherished by two brothers in Maassluis (the Netherlands) more than 75 years ago, and ever since, we have worked to become innovative market leaders in automated systems for dairy farmers across the globe. Lely is an international family‑owned business that operates through a strong international structure. From our headquarters in Maassluis, the Netherlands, we manage nine regional clusters, each responsible for coordinating activities across a group of countries. Within these clusters, we collaborate with more than 200 Lely Centers (Franchises) around the world.

As Manager Proposition, you hold a key position at the heart of one of our Lely Clusters. You translate Lely’s global vision into local commercial success, ensuring that our innovative solutions genuinely make a difference on dairy farms every day. Together with your multidisciplinary team, you bring Lely’s propositions to life: from milking and feeding to data and service excellence. This position combines strategic leadership, commercial responsibility and team development. You will lead a team of Commercial Product Specialists, Technical Service Support and Farm Management Support professionals, and marketing experts. Together, you ensure that every Lely proposition is implemented successfully, that customer satisfaction grows, and that our centers perform to the highest standards.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Translate Lely’s international strategy into a local commercial plan and deliver on sales, service, and support targets for your proposition.
  • Lead, coach, and develop your multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Ensure successful implementation of propositions in the Lely Centers, from product launch to market adoption and customer support.
  • Strengthen Lely Center performance and customer relationships.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for the cluster and the 5‑year roadmap for your proposition.
  • Represent the Business Team in the Cluster Management Team, ensuring alignment with other propositions and cluster priorities.

  • Strong analytical and business acumen, with a track record of achieving commercial goals.
