Our client, a market-leading roofing, cladding, and building envelope business, is seeking a Managing Director to drive strategy, operational excellence, and commercial performance. This is a board-level role with full P&L responsibility, offering the opportunity to shape the future of a dynamic, ambitious and technically sophisticated business.
The right candidate will bring hands-on experience around envelope contracting, paired with strong commercial acumen, people leadership skills, and the ability to deliver growth while protecting margin and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and execute a strategic plan aligned to market opportunities, client needs, and growth ambitions.
- Lead financial performance: drive revenue, margin, and cost-efficiency improvements.
- Oversee technical design, project delivery, and quality assurance, ensuring solutions meet client and regulatory standards.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and industry bodies.
