Our Facility Attendants have an important role to play in the smooth operation of the leisure centre.
As a Facility Attendant, you will be your responsibility to ensure that customers always find the facilities meet their expectations in terms of cleanliness.
You will also help with routine checks, housekeeping standards and customer safety.
As you go about your work, you will regularly interact with customers and will do so in a warm and welcoming way.
You will often be the first team member that customers report issues to, and therefore you will have a great deal of responsibility for representing Leisure SK in a professional and efficient manner; remaining calm in difficult situations, being proactive in dealing with issues yourself where possible or reporting immediately to management if not.
- The Main Responsibilities Of Our Facility Attendants Are
- Clean all areas of the centre in accordance with the cleaning schedule and all fixtures and fittings within these areas; including gym, changing rooms, toilets, offices, sports halls, storerooms, corridors, reception areas, café and seating areas.
- Cleaning duties to include: wet mopping, dry mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping, scrubbing, dusting and general sanitisation.
- Replenish paper towel, soap, toilet paper, bin liners, cleaning chemicals and hand sanitiser.
- Use machines, tools, equipment and materials as necessary and as trained.
- Empty all litter bins into appropriate containers (recycled and general waste) and then to remove to external bin compound.
- Ensure a high standard of customer care is achieved at all times, adopting a warm and welcoming manner which encourages communication with customers.
- To complete from time-to-time other tasks as requested by the management team.
