We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Gymnastics Instructor to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and safe gymnastics sessions for children across a range of abilities, helping participants build confidence, coordination, and fitness in a positive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver structured gymnastics sessions suitable for different age groups and ability levels.
- Teach gymnastics techniques while ensuring a high standard of safety at all times.
- Supervise participants during classes and use equipment safely and correctly.
- Create a fun, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
- Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Help set up and tidy away gymnastics equipment before and after sessions.
- Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Previous gymnastics coaching or teaching experience preferred.
- British Gymnastics qualification Level 1 or 2.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage children and young people.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- First Aid qualification desirable.
- Flexible and reliable with availability for evenings and weekends.
