Are you looking to join an events team and help create memorable experiences? We are recruiting Events Waiter / Waitress to join our team at De Vere Horsley Estate in East Horsley. Our hotel and wedding venue is a vibrant place to work and this summer we are looking forward to hosting many weddings and special events. We also host large conferences.

As a Waiter/Waitress at De Vere Horsley Estate you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring our guests have a great experience. Whatever the reason for our guests' visit you will make sure their food and drinks are provided smoothly and efficiently and that memorable moments are created. This role involves set ups for the events we are hosting, serving food & drinks and helping to ensure our guests enjoy their event and then helping to clear up after events and reset the event spaces.

We have both Full time and Part Time work available - however please note this will involve working late shifts through to the early hours of the morning and weekends on a rota basis. Due to the working hours required, we are looking for applicants who are 18 years old or over.

  • A keen eye for detail and an intuitive approach to our guest's needs
  • Someone motivated by delivering high standards of service to ensure each and every guest has a memorable experience
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks with enthusiasm
  • Previous experience working in a wedding venue or similar would be desirable but not essential.
  • A confident team player who enjoys working with others and interacting with people
