We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Stores Assistant to join our team.
This is a hands-on role that is vital to the smooth operation of the hotel, ensuring deliveries are received efficiently, stock is accurately managed, and all back-of-house areas remain clean, safe and well organised.
As a Stores Assistant, you'll be 100% you, bringing your authentic personality to everything you do; be the ultimate host, confidently leading yourself and making creative decisions that elevate every interaction; and spark joy, using every tool available to craft meaningful and memorable experiences.
- What you'll be doing
- Goods In & Deliveries
- Receive, check and accurately record all deliveries against purchase orders.
- Ensure all goods are stored correctly in line with food safety and storage standards.
- Receive, count, check and put away beverage deliveries (Tuesday and Friday).
- Process and log all delivery invoices using Procure Wizard (PW).
- Maintain accurate delivery records and invoice control.
- Cellar & Beverage Control
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked cellar.
- Build and process stock requisitions from the cellar to bars and restaurants.
- Carry out accurate stock transfers and balance cellar stock.
- Prepare and deliver daily beverage stock to outlets based on requisitions.
- Complete beer line cleaning every two weeks.
- Back of House Operations
- Maintain all storage areas to a high standard of cleanliness, safety and organisation.
- Keep team areas stocked, tidy and presentable.
- Ensure bin stores and waste areas are clean, organised and managed in line with hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock of consumables and replenish as required.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, health & safety and storage procedures.
- Report any maintenance, pest control, cleanliness or waste concerns promptly.
About You
- Available to work 32 hours per week
- 5 days out of 7. Shifts between 6:30am - 1:00pm
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
- Comfortable with manual handling and moving stock throughout the hotel.
- A reliable team player with a proactive approach and a strong work ethic.
- Previous stores, stock control, warehouse or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
