Lead the brigade - Support the Executive Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations, including briefings, prep schedules, and team organisation.

Develop the team - Train and support junior chefs, create a culture of learning and excellence, and nurture a positive team spirit on every shift.

Control stock & costs - Support purchasing, stock rotation, portion control, and waste reduction to hit budget and sustainability goals.

Innovate and inspire - Contribute to menu development and daily specials that reflect our local story, seasonal ingredients, and brand standards.

Champion safety - Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, allergen awareness, and food safety compliance at all times.

You're a confident and creative leader with a calm head and high standards. To shine in this Sous Chef role, you'll bring:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen
  • Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, COSHH and allergen procedures
  • Commercial awareness, understanding how to manage food costs and drive efficiency
  • Flexibility to work a rota including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
