What's the role?
We're looking for a passionate and proactive Deputy Manager to join the leadership team at our Tunbridge Wells Pet Care Centre.
This role is about more than just supporting day-to-day operations it's about leading by example, inspiring your team, and delivering an exceptional experience for both pets and their people.
As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager and take shared responsibility for the pet care centre's performance, team development, and customer engagement.
You'll step up to lead when the Store Manager is away and play a key part in shaping a welcoming, knowledgeable, and pet-loving environment.
No two days will be the same and that's just how we like it!
What you'll be doing: Leading from the front setting the tone, inspiring your team, and driving performance every step of the way.
Managing store operations, from stock control and merchandising to operational excellence and compliance.
Creating a culture of fun, inclusivity, and collaboration where everyone feels welcome and supported.
Delivering a best-in-class customer experience, tailored advice, expert support, and genuine care for every visitor ..... and their pets!

- Have experience of running a team in a busy retail, hospitality or customer-focused environment as a manager / supervisor
