Manage reservation dairy, assign tables efficiently, and accommodate special requests while balancing waiting staff sections. Handle reservations via phone, online platform (Res Dairy), or in-person, ensuring accurate booking details and waitlist management. Inform guests of wait times and provide updates, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour. Assist waiting staff, and other staff during peak hours by coordinating guest flow and addressing immediate needs. Maintain a tidy host stand and entrance, ensuring menus and promotional materials are presentable. Address guest inquiries, resolve minor complaints, and escalate issues to the manager when necessary. Follow health & safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulations. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred but not required; training provided. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills; ability to remain calm under pressure. Must be available to work evenings (typically 4 PM-10 PM or later) and weekends (Friday-Sunday). Friendly, approachable, and professional with a guest-focused attitude.
