Are you an experienced Receptionist looking for your next step? At Perth Vets for Pets we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Head Receptionist on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
About Us: We are a locally owned practice led by our senior vet and head nurse. Our wonderful, longstanding team is made up of one senior Vet/JVP, one PT Vet and one FT vet, one Head RVN/JVP, two FT RVNs, and two Client Care Advisors. We also have a great relationship with our Business Relationship Manager, who is always on hand for additional support and advice. What your typical day will look like: As Head Receptionist, you will be overseeing the reception team, ensuring daily tasks are completed in a timely manner, whilst managing your own admin duties and making sure that a great level of customer service is maintained and delivered to all clients. You'll provide a link between clients and the clinical team.
You will undertake all core receptionist responsibilities, with added duties including conducting 1-to-1s, managing staff rotas and holidays, overseeing debt management and weekly banking, supporting payroll processes, and handling client complaints professionally. Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
Your great client service during a client's visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit. You will greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must.
This is a part time role working 30 hours per week. Prior experience managing a team is required; veterinary practice experience is an advantage.
