Job Summary
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and consistency while managing staff, stock, and costs. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and service flow.
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to company standards.
- Maintain strict food hygiene, health & safety, and sanitation standards.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage deliveries.
- Control food costs, waste, and portioning.
- Create staff schedules and manage shift coverage.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report faults.
- Support menu development and seasonal updates where required.
- Handle kitchen-related issues or complaints efficiently.
