We are seeking a diligent and reliable Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in our facility/residence. The ideal candidate will ensure all areas are clean, organized, and welcoming, following established standards and safety procedures.
Hours: Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other assigned spaces.
- Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and polish furniture as needed.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and supplies.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly used and stored.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with laundry and ironing, if required.
- Provide courteous and professional service to residents, guests, or staff.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safe handling procedures.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable: Previous experience is ideal however not essential. Training provided.
