ABOUT THE ROLEThe Bell is a modern British inn set in the heart of the Cotswolds – a place to eat, drink and sleep in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The Bell family is growing, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Mixologist – Bartender to ensure the smooth efficient running of service throughout our beautiful beer garden.You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests at all times.Salary: 12.38 Per Hour + Tronc HOURS: Full time – 40 Hours – Weekend flexibility Required RESPONSIBILITIES Working across our indoor and outdoor bar Delivering outstanding guest service by exceeding guest expectations Ensure that all work equipment and glassware, are always perfectly polished and in good condition, and stocked where they need to be Have a thorough knowledge of all dishes and beverages on the menu, being able to bring them \”to life\” in conversation with guests, and be aware of all potential allergens Keep a constant attentive eye on the timing and flow of service, highlighting any delays to your manager Ensure all bills presented to the guests are correct and are cashed off correctly Bring our purpose to life by driving meaningful social and environmental improvements, contributing to our journey as a B Corp, and aligning with our sustainability vision. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS Mixology Knowledge & Drink Preparation Ability to craft classic and creative cocktails. Understanding of spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and garnishes. Customer Service Skills Friendly, engaging demeanor with strong communication. Able to handle complaints or difficult customers professionally. Multitasking & Time Management Efficiently manage multiple drink orders, especially in busy environments. Prioritize tasks without compromising quality or service.
