Looking for a Finance role within the hospitality sector? Join our team at De Vere Cranage Estate as a Finance Assistant and be at the heart of the hotel's back of house operations.

As a Finance Assistant you will play a vital role within the Finance department ensuring the smooth financial functioning of the Hotel. Duties include daily banking and reconciliation of credit cards, petty cash, daily revenue reconciliation, purchase and sales ledger. You'll also have an opportunity to support with month-end reporting - all while maintaining strict adherence to financial and client deadlines.

This role involves working 34 - 40 hours per week on site - Monday to Friday. (Open to discussion on weekly working hours)

To be successful as a Finance Assistant you will have:

  • Previous experience in finance or a relevant qualification, demonstrating your understanding of financial processes
  • An interest in the hospitality and events industry and the ability to deliver high standards of service, may suit applicants with a reception background
  • The ability to work effectively with numbers and communicate with others both from within the Hotel and external clients
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and in particular Microsoft Excel. While experience with accounting software & Opera is desirable, it is not essential - we value your ability to adapt and learn.
