This is not a role for order takers. It is for storytellers, guides and hosts. You'll know our menu inside out, recommend wines with confidence, read every table instinctively and create experiences that guests remember long after they leave. You won't follow a script - you'll read the room. At GiGi, we serve people, not tables.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own the guest experience from welcome to farewell, creating a seamless journey throughout every visit
- Build genuine connections with guests through warmth, personality and authentic conversation
- Guide guests through our menus with confidence, sharing the stories behind our dishes, wines and cocktails
- Read every table instinctively, adapting your style to suit the occasion and each individual guest
- Deliver thoughtful recommendations that enhance the experience rather than simply increase the bill
- Work closely with food runners, bussers, the kitchen and the bar to deliver effortless, beautifully paced service
- Anticipate guest needs before they are asked, ensuring every detail is considered
- Maintain exceptional standards throughout the dining room, creating an environment that feels elegant, relaxed and welcoming
- Handle guest feedback professionally, always seeking opportunities to turn good experiences into unforgettable ones
