As a Food Runner, you are the vital link between our kitchen and our guests, ensuring every dish arrives exactly as intended and every moment feels seamless.
This is far more than carrying plates. You are part of the theatre of service. Working alongside our servers and kitchen team, you help create an experience that feels effortless, elegant and unmistakably GiGi. Because food isn't simply delivered. It is presented.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Deliver every dish with pride, confidence and exceptional attention to detail
- Work closely with servers to ensure every course reaches the right guest at exactly the right moment
- Check every plate, garnish and accompaniment before it leaves the kitchen
- Understand our menu and dishes well enough to support confident food presentation when required
- Anticipate what guests and servers need before they have to ask
- Maintain communication between the kitchen and front of house to keep service flowing effortlessly
- Support table maintenance by clearing plates naturally and resetting tables to the highest standard
- Ensure the dining room always feels polished, elegant and ready for every guest
- Support the wider restaurant team wherever needed because exceptional hospitality is always a team effort
